Due to "Vengeance-Esports" claiming that their organisation is going disband
the intial prizepool of 1900$ is drawn back and we apologize for this.
Vengeance Esports tournament rulebook
This rulebook is shared for both the Vengeance Esports Cup and the Vengeance Esports Championships alike. These rules are in addition to terms already stated in the tournament layout. By signing up for the Vengeance Esports Cup you agree to these rules and conditions and will agree to, as result of breaking one of these rules, the forestated consequences of breaking that rule. This also applies to any rules, terms or conditions mentioned in the tournament layout even if they are not repeated in the rule book. These rules can and will be subject to change. The tournament organisation is not responsible for informing participants every time rules get changed. It is up to the participants to stay up to date with this rulebook and the tournament layout.
1: Participating in the Vengeance Esports Cup after you have already accepted the invite for the Vengeance Esports Championships with a team (either on main account or alt account(s)) will lead to a immediate disqualification of your entire team and a automatic permanent ban for the entire team prohibiting them from participating in any future tournaments hosted by Vengeance Esports.
1.1 Teammembers that have been automatically banned have the right to contest this ban by contacting one of the admins. Wether or not this ban will be lifted is considered on a case by case basis.
1.2 The option as described in article 1.1 is not available for players that have been caught violating article 1.
2: If a team plays in a Vengeance Esports Cup and declines the invite to play in the Vengeance Esports Championships, they permanently forfeit their right to get invited for that specific Vengeance Esports Championship through any of the remaining Vengeance Esports Cups.
2.1 Article 1 still applies to teams that have declined their invite to play in the Vengeance Esports Championships.
2.2 In the scenario in which a team declines their invite to play in the Vengeance Esports Championships the individual members of that team are still allowed to to try and qualify through any of the remaining Vengeance Esports Cups with a different team and will not apply to article 1.
2.3 In the scenario in which a team declines their invite to play in the Vengeance Esports Championships one of the third placed teams will be randomly drafted to receive a invite to the Vengeance Esports Championships. If none of them accept one of the fourth placed teams will be drafted and so on until a supplementary team has been found.
3: Prize money will be sent within 40 days to the team captains paypal account. There will be no other way to receive the prize money than through paypal. It is up to the team captain to sent the money to his teammembers. The tournament organisation loses all responsibility for the prize money once it has been transfered to the team captain. We are not responsible if a team captain decides not to sent money to this team members. Because of this we recommend for teams to only elect someone they trust as team captain and have clear agreements about the distribution of the money prior to participating in the tournament.
3.1 Exceptions to article 3 can be made on basis of an agreement between the tournament organisation and receiving party.
3.2 The team captain does not have to be a player on the team. It can be anyone with a currently active Bloodline Champions account.
4: We expect tournament participants to show sportmanship during matches. Because of this Admins have the right to forfeit a match in case of swearing, insults or other offensive behavior. If a participant feels offended by another participant he can file a complaint by contacting a admin who will then make a ruling with consquences ranging from muting to forfeiting the match in a 5-0 favour of the offended participants team.
4.1 When a player is muted he is not allowed to utilise the all chat. He is still allowed to utilise the teamchat. When a muted player says something in all chat after being muted, this will lead to the match being forfeited in favor of the opposing team. Warning: This rule includes using the all chat to call “gg” or “wp” or other otherwise not seen as offensive comments.
5: Exploiting of any kind is prohibited. Because of the difficulty of establishing what is a deliberate exploit and what is a incidental happening this rule will not try to establish such a definition. We expect the involved participants to already have a understanding of what a exploit is and what not. Wether or not a team has utilised a exploit is up for the admin to decide. The consequence for violating this rule will be the forfeiting of the match in a 5-0 favour of the opposing team. There will be no warnings.
6: We expect players to bring their best game to the Vengeance Esports Championships. Because of this trolling of any kind of prohibited. Because of the difficulty of esthablising what is trolling and what is honest play this rule will not try to establish such a definition. We expect the involved participants to already have a understanding of what trolling is and what honest play is. Wether or not a team is trolling or not is up for the admin to decide. The consquence of violating this rule will be the forfeiting of the match in a 5-0 favour of the opposing team. There will be no warnings.
7: Wintrading in any form is stricktly prohibited. Suspicion alone of wintrading can be enough to warrant a punishment. Violating this rule will result in a permanent ban for both teams involved.
8: In case of a disconnect, packetloss or a high ms it is up to the opposing teams discretion wether or not to wait. Any rounds lost because of a disconnect, packetloss or a high ms will count. The reason for this is that Bloodline Champions is a extremely high paced game and matches can be decided within seconds. Because of this we feel that it would be extremely easy to manipulate the outcome of matches if we would neutralise rounds based on disconnects or other connection troubles.
9: The Vengeance Esports Championships will be played on standard maps. The first map will be Dubaku, the second map will be Well of Sergans and the third map will be Ama If both teams agree to play on a different map and inform a admin about this a map change is possible.
9.1 Article 9 does not apply to the Vengeance Esports Cup.
10: Matches in the Vengeance Esports Championships will be played in a best out of three, Best out of nine format. This means that each match will consist out of a minimum of two games, and a maximum of three games, with each game having a minimum of five rounds, and a maximum of nine rounds.
11: Tournament admins are allowed to participate in both the Vengeance Esports cups and the Vengeance Esports Championships. However, when a admin does so he will temporarily lose his admin status for the matches he will play in.
12: When a situation arises which the theoretical layout or this rulebook does not (sufficiently) cover admins call will be final and cannot be contested.
13: In the case of confusion about the intepretation of the theoretical layout or this rulebook admins call will be final and cannot be contested.
14: Each team is allowed to have one subsitute player. This substitute player can be anyone as long as it is a level 25 account. The substitute player has to be swapped in before the start of the first match by contacting an admin and cannot be swapped out. After the start of the first match teams are no longer allowed to swap a subtitute player in.
15: Teams are expected to be there ten minutes in advance. If a team cannot make it in time they are expected to inform the tournament organisation about this and arrange a later start time. Teams have until five minutes after the supposed start of their match to show up. After these five minutes it will be up to the opposing teams discretion to wait or to disqualify the match in a 5-0 favor for them. After 10 minutes this disqualification will follow automatically.
15.1 at least 1 teammember has to be online for article 15 to go into effect. If not one teammember has shown up they will be automatically disqualified after five minutes.
15.2 Article 15.1 does not apply to substitute players that have not been swapped in.
